Zenith Bank has confirmed that it is investigating an incident involving unauthorized access to limited customer information, including email addresses and phone numbers.

The bank said the incident is part of a wider global cyberattack targeting multiple international organizations across different sectors.

In a statement, Zenith Bank said it immediately activated its incident response protocols, strengthened its cybersecurity measures, and commenced remediation efforts upon discovering the breach.

The bank assured customers that its core banking services and digital channels remain secure and fully operational, adding that there is no disruption to banking operations.

As a precaution, Zenith Bank urged customers to remain vigilant against phishing emails, fraudulent text messages, and unsolicited phone calls. It also advised customers never to disclose their passwords, Personal Identification Numbers (PINs), One-Time Passwords (OTPs), or any other security credentials to anyone.
